Short, step-by-step videos for the jobs you do every week. Each one takes under three minutes.
Sunday's sermon, start to finish
Add the sermon, upload the recording, let AI write the notes, and publish. The same upload becomes a new podcast episode.
- Upload just the sermon, not the whole service. An MP3 from a phone or the sound desk is fine.
- AI notes take 3 to 8 minutes. You can leave the page; we email you when they're ready.
- Submit your podcast feed to Spotify and Apple Podcasts once, under Podcast. New sermons then appear there by themselves.
Create an event with bookings
Write the programme, add a free stock photo, take bookings with priced options, and publish. Then see who's coming and print a door list.
- Leave the capacity blank for no limit. Set one, and a waitlist opens when it's full.
- Options are for different prices, such as entry and a workshop. Use R0 for a free option.
- To take a deposit or the full amount online, connect PayFast, iKhokha or Yoco under Settings (Starter and Growth plans).
Your home page: slider, tiles & livestream
Put your next big event in the slider, keep your call to action tiles current, and show the service live on Sunday.
- Use wide, landscape photos for slides. Text sits on top, so busy photos are harder to read.
- Add your YouTube channel once. On Sunday, just tick Live now and save; untick it after the service.
- If your stream is unlisted, paste this week's video link under Live now.
Your colours, matched to your logo
Upload your logo, let ChurchMatters suggest colours that match it, pick a header style, and publish.
- A dark logo needs the white header. A brand-coloured header suits a white or light logo.
- Suggested colours are adjusted so text stays easy to read.
- Custom colours are included in the Starter and Growth plans.
Giving campaigns: raise money for a goal
Give a project its own page with a goal, a progress bar and a Donate button. Gifts go straight to your church's account.
- Giving campaigns are part of the Growth plan. Connect PayFast, iKhokha or Yoco under Settings first.
- Card details go to your payment provider and never touch ChurchMatters.
- The progress bar updates by itself after each gift.
Your team: invite admins and see who changed what
Share the work with other admins, remove people who leave, and see every change in the audit trail.
- Free includes 1 admin, Starter 3 and Growth 10.
- Remove someone as soon as they leave your team. Their past changes stay in the audit trail.
- Audit trail entries can't be edited or removed, so it's a reliable record.
More than one campus
Give each location its own address, service times and phone number, all on one Locations page.
- Campuses are part of the Growth plan, which includes up to three.
- The giving link is optional. Add one to put a Give button on that campus's card.
- Display order sets the order campuses appear in on the Locations page.
Moving from WordPress: what to expect
You don't have to start again. Ask for a quote, and we bring your sermons and pages across.
- Migrations are available on the Starter and Growth plans: up to 200 sermons and 30 pages.
- A quote is up to R2,000, valid for 14 days, and paid once-off through PayFast.
- If we can't import your site, you get a full refund.
